The Colorado Open Records Act guarantees that all public records must be open for inspection by any person at reasonable times, except as provided in CORA part 2 or as otherwise specifically provided by law (§ 24-72-201, C.R.S.). CORA does not guarantee access to public records in a specific format.
Procedures and Form
Wiggins' CORA Policy (Colorado Open Records Act Requests), outlines procedures and fees that may apply to CORA requests received by the Town of Wiggins. This document also includes the CORA request form to be completed and returned to the Wiggins Town Clerk. The Wiggins Town Clerk will coordinate Town staff in notifying the custodian of such records requested for retrieval.

The Town of Wiggins complies with public records inspection requests in compliance with the Colorado Open Records Act, Article 72 of Title 24. The Act provides that "all public records are open for inspection by any person at reasonable times," unless otherwise provided by the Open Records Act itself or other law.
