All dogs picked up by the Wiggins Police Department are taken directly to the Brush Animal Shelter.  To claim your animal, please call (970) 842-5021 (opens in new window)to make arrangements.

Common Code Violations: Dog-At-Large, Failure to License Dog, Barking Dogs, Neglect & Abuse and Failure to Vaccinate Dog

Animal Licenses

Proof of anti-rabies vaccination required.

Licenses are valid for only 1 year and must be renewed by April of each year.

FEES FOR DOGS & CATS:

$5.00 PER PER ANIMAL, PER YEAR

REGISTRATION FORM -  

  • Top part of this form may be completed and brought into Town Hall with your $5 registration fee & a copy of the pet’s current anti-rabies vaccination records.
  • Form may also be picked up and filled out at the Town Hall.
