The Town of Wiggins Board of Trustees is comprised of seven members. Six of the members are at-large trustees and one member is the Town mayor. Board meetings are scheduled for the second Wednesday (Work Session) and fourth Wednesday (Board Meeting) of each month. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend these meetings, although public comments are not typically accepted during the work session, only during the board meeting. If you cannot attend a meeting in person, we invite you to participate via your computer or phone, using the link on the main page titled Board Agendas & Live Meetings.

If you have a question or concern for an individual board member that you do not want to bring up in a meeting, please let them know by sending them an email. Email addresses for the Board of Trustees can be found below. Any emails sent to a board member are public record.

IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN A MEETING OR HAVE A CONCERN HEARD IN AN OPEN FORUM:

BY EMAIL: Residents can email comments or questions for the board to the Town Clerk at clerk@wigginsco.gov. Please send the email by 4:00 p.m. the day of the meeting. Emails received by 4:00 p.m. will be read into the minutes. Emails must contain the resident's name, address, and topic/question.

REGULAR MEETINGS: You will need to sign in on the sign-in sheet that will be at the meeting. When you are called to speak, please come to the podium and clearly state your name and address into the microphone prior to addressing the board. You will have three (3) minutes to state your concern(s). The board or staff will take your comments into consideration and may answer them at a later date. You may also participate online via Zoom, by virtually raising your hand. The town clerk will check to see if any online observers want to participate in the meeting.

WORK SESSION & SPECIAL MEETINGS: Community members may listen to the meeting in session but will NOT have the ability to address the trustees during this meeting unless prior arrangements are made.

PUBLIC HEARINGS: ALL public hearings sessions occuring within a regular meeting or a special meeting have the opportunity to allow the public to address the trustees as described in the REGULAR MEETINGS section.
